¡Colonial Mexico!

Our trip starts in the charming colonial city of Merida, Yucatán, where we will be greeted by Board member Bill Frej and his wife Anne at their home away from home. We will then follow the route of the conventos from Mani to Uayma, visit the archaeological site of Palenque, pass through Chiapa de Crzo with its Mudejar incluenced fountain-unique in Latin America and complete this part of the journey in the colorful city of San Cristobal de Las Casas Chiapas.

The second part of our trip will begin in San Cristobal and head towards Oaxaca City, winding through colonial towns, and making several stops along the way. Once in Oaxaca City, we will tour the many colonial churches and historic sites, follow the route of the Dominicans through Tanhuitlan, Teposcolula, and Huayapan, and feast on the world-renowned Oaxacan cuisine.
